And there isn’t much after that… Well, if you are a fan of The Game, you would of gotten that reference…lol In all seriousness, Barack Obama will be the first Black Presidential Nominee in the United States of America and for all intents and purposes any European country in the World.
It says a lot about a country, which is 40 plus years out of Jim Crow Laws that prohibited Black folks from being totally free to enjoy all the liberties that every American enjoyed. It says a lot about a country that used to lynch Black men for whistling @ White women. It says a lot for a country that refused to let go of the idea of separate but equal for decades. Most of all what it says is that the country has come a long way, but let us not kid ourselves about the racial divide in this country. It still exists, but this one moment gives an idea of hope and understanding to every child that even though they may not like you or assume you have inferior intelligence, however, with pride and precerverence they must respect you.
Unless of course if your name is Hillary Clinton, who was supposed to graciously bow out when the numbers just didn’t add up for her to have a logical shot @ the Presidency. However, she made some humbling concessions in her last speech of the primary season (see below). She failed to actually gracefully bow out, which is kind of the point. Some are indicating it’s because she wants the VP, but you don’t run for the office of VP; you are selected….
Obama claims win, gets no concession

I’m trying to be nice about the situation but she is trying to force Obama into a decision about the VP slot. I think she has no class and is on a personal power trip. She almost stole the show on one of the most historic nights in United States history. If that were me there is no way in hell I would have her on the ticket. Somebody said maybe a cabinet position or supreme court but she doesn’t even deserve that its not all about her or so you would think.
