Seriously, what would you have done? “DALLAS - A camera captured images of a mentally challenged-bipolar student being choked by a school bus driver in Dallas. On a normal day, the Dallas County bus driver, Janet Pitts, would have a monitor on board to help with students like Xavier, a middle school student. But that wasn’t the case one day in January. The monitor couldn’t make it that day.“
All in all the monitor put up with verbal abuse, but when she had a can thrown @ her, I suppose that was her breaking point. It’s a tough call to make because the child is apparently mentally or emotionally challenged, but @ some point in time it’s a natural human emotion to defend yourself and stop the situation from escalating even more. However, this brings new meaning to “going Ron Artest” on the job… Who hasn’t been there before?
Thanks for posting the article, was certainly a great read!

unfortunately in this day and age parents cant even give their kids a good spanking much less other people. Americas future is looking pretty bleak with the crazy kids we’ve got running around. Between the chemicals in the food and environment and the drugs they pump into their system and all the other madness IE media, unstable homes etc. who knows WTF will happen. I just know some kids need their but whooped to accept someone else as an authority figure.
Unfortunately this bus driver needs to get a different job, one not working with kids.
