will somebody rescue me?

will somebody rescue me?

And the national media doesn’t do there usual drive by, what a surprise…LoL Former Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney is apparently being held in custody by Israel authorities for what appears to be suspicious activity with the “Free Gaza Movement.” Her and 20 or so other passengers are being held @ port of Ashrod in Israel.

Cynthia McKinney had this to say via freegaza.org: “This is an outrageous violation of international law against us,” she was quoted as saying. “Our boat was not in Israeli waters, and we were on a human rights mission to the Gaza Strip. President Obama just told Israel to let in humanitarian and reconstruction supplies, and that’s exactly what we tried to do. We’re asking the international community to demand our release so we can resume our journey.”

By all accounts she doesn’t seem to be missed that much if you read the comments [here] on (11Alive.com) as well as comments [here]… Seems rather harsh if you ask me…

  1. well i don’t know what she did but shes an american so go get her mr. obama!!!!!!!!!

  2. Yeah, it’s harsh but its true, many people including me are not worried about her release. Though, I do hope she gets out. This isn’t being covered by national media\ and I don’t know why but I hope theres something going on, behind the scenes to deal with this situation.
Her as a person, hasn’t made a good impression on me or the public. She’s a weird one even when running during 2008 election, but she was on a humanitarian effort and she deserves some kudos and support for doing so.

    • I figured it had to be something about her as to why people were saying all those negative things about her. Still, I too would of thought it would of received some national attention. However, I read they offered to release her, but she didn’t sign the papers…
